About the Blog

The blog started a few years ago trying to tie music to wine when I was selling French wine to Californians. It then evolved into opinionated takes on music and the act of writing started to be as much fun as the content. At one point I made a vainglorious effort to try and play with fiction. I have since settled on a weekly snapshot of life as a wannabe Lyonnais. The content follows a simple pattern of this week’s fascination about life in France, a story about a Saint from one of the prior week’s saints day and then some food musings. Occasionally, if I get inspired, I add a playlist.
